
Interested in honing your class clown nature into a profession in the performing arts? It is possible! Professional silly person and PYT alumnus Brian Miller returns to host a clowning workshop for ages 11 and up on May 10. In this interactive workshop, Brian will walk young clowns through several techniques on how to be professionally silly – including slapstick (physical comedy), Lazzi (developing routines), and improvisational reactions. Arrive ready to move and to make big, energetic, bold and silly acting choices.

About Brian
Brian is a performer, writer, and director based out of Orlando. He is currently performing as a clown/physical actor in Drawn to Life, a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Disney.
He grew up in Cupertino performing in shows at Peninsula Youth Theatre until he moved to the “other side of the table” and worked as a director and choreographer, most recently on PYT’s Beauty and the Beast in 2018. He has performed in numerous shows at California’s Great America as well as across Walt Disney World. He has also written shows for Legoland parks.
He has a degree in Theater from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, and he is also a proud graduate of the San Francisco Circus Center’s Clown Conservatory.
