PYTeens - a great way to get involved and stay up to date with the PYT community!

PYT participants ages 12-20 are invited to join our group of motivated and dedicated PYT ambassadors. Members stay connected with one another and PYT staff and volunteers and are the first find out about what’s new at PYT! Our PYTeens have the opportunity to help with classes and productions, assist with editing, and give input about new offerings while building relationships and connecting with one another.

Summer Camp Internships

Join our energetic camp team and guide campers through their Theatre in the Park experience! PYT is now hiring summer camp teachers (18+) and interns (13+).

Teen Leadership Opportunities

Contact our Director of Business Operations, Connor Day, at connor@pytnet.org if you are available and interested in any of the following opportunities:

  • Stage Managers for Stories on Stage (SOS)

    • SOS Stage Managers are responsible for overseeing cues and requirements for sets, props, lighting, and sound during performances.

    • SOS rehearses Sun/Tues 6:30-9pm, with dress/tech rehearsal the Thursday evening prior to performances from 5-10pm

  • Assistant Stage Managers for MainStage

    • Assistant Stage Managers will support our stage manager Shiboune Thill and help with sets, props, cueing, and other backstage activities during performances.

    • MainStage shows generally rehearse Wed-Fri from 6:30-9pm and Saturdays 10a-1p. Each ASM is expected to attend about 2-3 rehearsals per week.
