Your creative kid will have a blast in our drama classes and camps!  Peninsula Youth Theatre offers a variety of classes for children ages 5 and up. From traditional acting and singing classes to intensive camps, we are proud to offer classes and camps voted a local favorite year after year.

 

Theater in the Park Summer Camps

Join us for a summer of fun, making a play for family and friends to enjoy! Peninsula Youth Theatre’s award-winning two-week summer camps will help your young thespian learn all about what goes into a show. Campers not only act, but also design and construct the sets, props, and costumes. With an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, your student will have a blast!

Spring Comedic Acting Intensive for Teens - Check Please

Teen Comedic Acting Intensive (ages 13-18)

Teens will tackle this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud one-act filled with wildly awkward first dates and over-the-top characters. Actors will strengthen character development, timing, pacing, and ensemble work in a focused rehearsal process that culminates in a live performance. No audition required—just commitment and a willingness to make bold comedic choices!

Spring Comedic Acting Intensive for Tweens - The Rules of Comedy

Tween Comedic Acting Intensive (ages 10-13)

The Rules of Comedy by Peter Bloedel

Tween actors will dig into the mechanics of comedy and learn how to truly “bring the house down.” Through physicality, timing, character choices, and high-energy scenes, students will build confidence while exploring what makes comedy work—all leading to a live performance.

April 20–May 8
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays | 4:30–6:00pm
Saturdays (April 25 & May 2) | 10:00am–12:00pm

Both intensives are performance-based classes and open enrollment. If your actor is ready to level up this spring, these fast-paced comedy experiences are the perfect next step!

Spring Break Camps: Little Red, Wolf Hunter

Get your K-pop on! Spend your spring break working on a new play in development.

LITTLE RED, WOLF HUNTER brings us to the forest of Ever After, where a big bad wolf is back on the prowl with an army of baddies, ready to take over. Can Little Red and her allies, the three pigs, take them down?

Featuring dances to favorite K-pop songs!

1st Camp: April 6-10, 8:30am – 3pm
2nd Camp: April 13-17, 9am – 3pm
