
Join us for a summer of fun making a play for family and friends to enjoy! Peninsula Youth Theatre’s award-winning two-week summer camps will help your young thespian learn all about what goes into a show. Campers not only act, but also design and construct the sets, props, and costumes. With an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, your student will have a blast!

A student finds themselves transported from their boring history class back to Camelot! It turns out King Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, and all the knights are real – and so are the swords! Can they find their way back, or should they get used to jousts, sorcery, and running for their lives?

Join young Jim Hawkins as he embarks upon the adventure of a lifetime to find a hidden treasure. When the scurvy pirates who make up the crew turn mutinous, Jim must use all of his cleverness to come out on top in this spine-tingling, swash-buckling adventure!

The Adventures of Buster Bear

When Buster Bear first comes to live in Green Forest, his strong personality stirs up quite a commotion as bears haven’t lived in the forest for years. Before long, he meets Little Joe Otter and Chatterer the Red Squirrel, who, along with others in the forest, help Buster Bear learn the ways of the forest.
Winnie the Pooh Stories

Rewrite This Story
6/15 – 6/26 for 12-15-year-olds
If you’ve ever read a fairytale or folktale and said, “Hmm, I think this story would be better if…” then this is the camp for you! During this 2-week camp, with the assistance and guidance of their teacher, students will choose a well-known fairytale or folktale to rewrite and perform. Students will learn basic story structure and character development while writing a shortened version of their chosen story, be cast in the show, and get to work on making strong acting choices, vocal inflection, and communicating through physicality. Additionally, they’ll create their own sets, props, and costume pieces.
Jack and the Beanstalk
6/29 – 7/10 for 6-8-year-olds
When Jack trades his cow for a handful of magic beans from a mysterious man, he can’t believe his eyes when he wakes up the next morning to see a beanstalk reaching up into the clouds. What will he find when he climbs the beanstalk?
The Wizard of Oz
7/27 – 8/7 for 9-12-year-olds
Join Dorothy and Toto on their unforgettable road trip through the land of Oz, where they meet three friends, two witches, and one wonderful wizard.

Fewer than three weeks before the start date of your camp: Transfer requests are subject to a $75 fee.
We cannot provide a refund for cancellations made less than three weeks before the start of your camp.
