What would you do if you had all eternity? Eleven-year-old Winnie Foster yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence, but not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck family does she get more than she could have imagined. Based on the novel by Natalie Babbitt.

Auditions take place at our studios at 2510-A Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, CA. All who audition will be cast provided they are willing to accept any role and do not have excessive conflicts (no more than 8 based on a conflict calendar completed after registration). We are limited to 100 main cast participants, so register early!

For actors ages 8 – 18

  • Main cast auditions are for ages 8 and up. No experience necessary.
  • Participation fee: $490 early bird fee through November 30, $525 after. Full and partial scholarships are available. For more information, visit: https://pytnet.org/scholarships/ or email info@pytnet.org.
  • Families must commit a minimum of 25 hours of production support. Training will be provided.
  • Callbacks will be scheduled 6-9pm December 16-18.
  • Main cast rehearsals begin the week of January 6. They will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30 to 9pm & Saturdays 10am to 2pm. We will have two casts for this production, and actors will only be called as needed.
  • Technical rehearsals are March 3-7 from 5-10pm. Performances are March 8-16. No absences are allowed for tech rehearsals or performances.
  • As part of PYT’s community outreach, we present special weekday morning performances of our productions for school groups in the area. Tuck Everlasting will be performed on Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14 at 9:30 AM. Cast members should be prepared to miss school to perform with their cast. The length of the show will be approximately two hours and 45 minutes. Actors should be able to return to school by 1:15 pm.
  • NOTE: We will not have a Young Performers Ensemble for this production.

Performance Dates: July 10-13, 2025

In roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap… until he finds out he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune, and acquittal.

For actors entering high school in Fall 2025 up to age 20.

  • This is a limited cast production performing on the MVCPA SecondStage. Not all who audition will be cast.
  • Some content in this production may not be appropriate for all ages, including mild sexual references and adult themes. Please understand the material before auditioning.

Schedule Info

  • Conflicts can and will influence casting. More than 6 conflict dates (not including callbacks) reported prior to casting will require confirmation from the casting team to move forward with auditioning.
  • Callbacks will be held in the evenings the week of March 30.
  • Rehearsals will begin mid-April; general schedule TBA. Actors will only be called as needed.
  • Technical rehearsals are July 6-9 in the evenings at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. No absences are allowed for tech rehearsals or performances.
